I was lucky enough to get the chance to go along to a launch event in Lush Livingston. Displaying and testing out the new Mothers Day collection. The evening started off at 6:00pm, and we got the chance to speak to other bloggers attending the event. Members of staff passed around drinks and name badges, and in general we just had a nice little chat.

A member of staff introduced us to the new collection - showing us the bubble bars, bath bombs, body wash and the collection boxes. A demonstration was shown to us on the bathbombs, so we could see how they fizzed up.

Next the ten bloggers attending got split up into two groups of five. Firstly me and the other girls got to have a look at the facemasks and cleaners, and how Angels on Bare Skin is made. We even got to take part in the process. This was a very informative process and emphasis was put on to how environmentally and animal friendly the ingredients are. Little pieces of paper were handed around and we got to choose some products (sample sizes) to test out. I choose Happy Hippy shower gel, 9-5 cleanser,  Enzymion moisturizer and the BB Seaweed facemask.

We also got some samples and full sized products from the new mothersday launch. I choose the ultraviolet
bubble bar and the rose bombshell bath bomb, as well as the yummy mummy body wash, body conditioner, angels on bareskin cleanser. a lip product and a bathbomb.

The groups then swapped over, and my group got to participate in the emotional brilliance task, choosing colours at random - and getting a consultation on what each colours mean - your personality depends on which colours you will choose when the wheel is spinning and your eyes are closed. It's just a bit of fun really! A member of the Lush team spoke a little bit about the make-up products and then we got to see how a bath bomb was made!

Overall the evening was really lovely - and I can't wait to properly test out all my new products. Members of staff were really informative, and friendly. And i enjoyed meeting other bloggers. The experience overall was absolutely amazing. I have always loved lush, but now... I love it just that little bit more.
