A Make-Up Tutorial.

Aloha my darlings! Out of boredom, I decided to do a full make-up tutorial featuring a bright blue and brown eye. This look is pretty unwearable, but fun to do! Would be ideal for fancy dress or halloween!

I used the following products:

  • MAC's Select SPF Foundation
  • Urban Decay Naked Palette (The colour Buck)
  • Urban Decays Book Of Shadows - NYC Limited Edition (The colour radium)
  • Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner
  • Benefits "They're Real" Mascara
  • Bourjois bronzer
  • YSL Highlighter
  • MAC's Please Me lipstick
  • Benefits Boi-ing concealer
  • Gosh Brow Powder

Stay tuned till the end of this post to see the finished look :-)

1. Firstly, I applied MAC's SPF foundation all over my face, blending it in with Cosmo's Beauty Blender. I then proceeded to put on Benefits Boi-ing concealer underneath my eyes.

(Be aware of this picture, i look ghostly!!! Just to show you what the foundation looks like prior to starting eyemakeup!)

2. The next step in this makeup tutorial is brows! I used my Gosh Brow Kit (available in superdrug for £8.99) in the darkest colour. I used a small angle brush to apply it. I prefer powder over pencil, as i feel it gives a more natural look.

 3. Now to start the eyeshadow! First of all, i took the colour "Buck" from Urban Decays Naked 1 Palette and used a crease brush to apply it on, and just slightly above my crease. To get rid of the harsh lines, i used a big fluffy blending brush and blended it out. You can be messy as you want blending it out - you can fix any mistakes and fall out afterwards, it's impossible to stress how important blending out your eyeshadow is.

 4. This is when things will start to get messy! Time for the blue. I'm using a small flat brush to apply this colour, i'm not sweeping it on - i'm patting it on, to get a really bright blue colour at first. I blended out the colours, then blended them slightly together. Later on, i go on and add some more brown to the crease, blend it out, then some more blue, and blended it out, then once again blended this together. There is no limit on how often you can add colour, as long as you BLEND!!!

5. I go on to then curl my eyelashes and apply benefit's they're real mascara on to my top and bottom lashes, add winged eyeliner as well as adding the blue colour from urban decay on to my bottom waterline

6. In the final step, I used bronzer in place of a blusher. I applied this on to the apple of my cheeks and into the hollows of my cheeks, as well as underneath my chin and on the temples of my head - this is to give myself a more chiselled like face - tricking everybody into thinking I only have two chins!

I go on to add YSL highlighter to the bone underneath my eye, blending it right from the nose up to the temple of my head.

The finishing step was putting on a light layer of MAC's "please me" lipstick.

Here is some pictures of the final look!
