Hello! Another late blog post... eee! It's too far into November for an October Favourites, but not far enough into November for a November favourites, so here i bring you - my current favourites!
Haircare
Girlz Only Dry Shampoo
£1.50
This product has been in my hair care routine for quite a while! It works much better than batiste and is almost half the price... It doesn't leave any grey looking residue and it fades in really well. I think this product is much better than any other dry shampoo in regards to texturising my hair. I always purchase this exact bottle, the pinkish one...It smells really girly, floral like. This product is not a waste of money...you don't compromise on quality for this absolute bargain!
Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray
£7.49
.
Since going blonde and growing my hair out this product has been an absolute life(hair) saviour of mines! The product is like all the goodness from the ocean in one 150ml bottle. This product seems to receive a large amount of hatred and i blame it on the instructions Lee Stafford gives you. It is recommended that you spray it on your hair FIFTY times?! Absolute madness! I would never spray a product like this that amount of times. I stand up and flip my hair over spray this around about 10 times. I blow dry as normal.
I find that this product minimises the need for me to use a leave in conditioner, moose, texturiser/dry shampoo, detangler etc... it pretty much does everything for me. Although, the one thing it doesn't do is give me "beachy waves" or "just out of the sea" hair. It gives my hair more volume - in the roots and at the ends, it detangles my hair, it makes my hair smell amazing - along with plenty of shine! I feel as if it leaves my roots a bit crispy, but i can cope with that as it simply means i skip the hairspray!
This is an all round good product, try it before you judge it and believe the bad reviews.
Rimmel London
Scandal Eyes Collection
Precision Micro Eye Liner- £5.49
Retro Glam Mascara - £6.99
I've always been a massive fan of Rimmel London eye products - everything from eyeshadows, mascara and eyeliners. Unfortunately from Rimmel i discovered Collection's fast stroke eyeliner and switched to that for years. I was in Boots one day and right at the front door (excellent marketing technique...) was the new Retro 60's inspired "scandal eyes" collection. Fortunately for Rimmel and Boots the sneaky marketing technique worked! Using both the mascara and eyeliner together has taken over my previous everyday eye make-up routine...We all know my staple look is winged eyeliner and lashings of mascara on the top and bottom eyelashes - when i think about it... very 60's of me!
The precision eyeliner works like a felt tip pen, which means you have to build up the jet black colour but also means that it is much easier to control and it reduces smudging and poking yourself in the eye (famous for that).
The mascara could potentially be the best mascara i've tried so far in my make-up life. It goes on super jet black and thickens up my eyelashes... Not so much on the length side, but personally, i prefer thickness over length (there's going to be some dirty minds here i know it....).
These products definitely offer value for money and should be a part of every girls make-up collection.
ELF
Eyelash and Brow Wand
£1.50
This is a newbie in my make-up and brush collection and I don't know how I survived without this! I'm growing my brows out and the only way to describe them is, well... a riot. I've embraced the mishapen, bushy, messy eyebrows and filled them in even more to hide all the not-supposed-to-be-there-hairs. Because I've filled them in so much, they look ridiculous...Until I use this little gem! Once I've filled in my brows, i use this eyebrow wand and comb it through my eyebrows, it takes off the excess brow shadow and leaves my big brows looking natural, instead of my big brows looking a little bit too "scouse" (the famous scouse brow, not a stereotype!).
Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Cleansing Lotion
£3.99
As you can see from the pictures, this product has been beyond well loved! I use this product after I take a make-up wipe on my face, and before I wash it with water and a cleanser. I focus it on my T-zone and down the sides of my nose - when I'm most prone to blackheads.
Warning though...this product smells and can sometimes feel like petrol on your face, so use a small amount at a time. I was guilty for pouring 1/4 of the bottle on to a cotton pad, but a small amount if enough and it goes a long way... I thank this product for getting rid of my stubborn, tough blackheads.
Urban Decay
Naked 2 Palette
£37
Not so much the actual palette being my favourite...more 3 colours. When i first got this product I was extremely disappointed if I'm honest, slowly but surely I started liking it, and now there's three colours I use often. Tease is a purple-taupe colour. I always use this colour regardless if I'm going for a simple eye make-up look or a more dramatic look. Booty call is a beautiful pale pink colour and I add this to the centre of my lid, and use tease in the crease to smoke it out and create the perfect every day smoky. Blackout is a super black, slightly shimmered eyeshadow - extremely pigmented and should be used with a light hand! I take a small domed crease brush and apply it in the crease when I've applied tease all over my lid...This creates the perfect cut crease look.
I will always be a fan of urban decay eye products, they are extremely good value for the quality of the products. Go on easy, well pigmented and last a long time.

As some of you may know, or some of you may not...I follow slimming world and have been lightly following slimming world for the past year (I don't go to classes any more but still follow the system and recipes)... Eventually, the weight loss slowed down as usual. I was left just over a stone lighter and stuck in a complete rut. I started using these pills in the middle of September and they have made a massive difference in suppressing my appetite and reducing the bloating in my stomach. Using these pills, along with the slimming world diet has had a massive effect on me...
Here is a before and after picture. The picture on the right is the before picture... That picture was taken in July after I had been loosing weight since January (yes you can imagine how big i was in the first place!) The picture on the left is the after picture, taken in October after using African Mango and Diet Support Max for 6 weeks. Both Slimming World and Natural Beauty Slimming has worked absolute wonders and I recommend either of them to anybody.
Thank you for sticking around till the end... I hope you enjoyed this blog post, over and out xox
